Go to the Bed rail thread everyone...need some help there......one of our dearly beloved members has offered to fab some bed rail thingee bolt on do-dads...and I found a site that sells them, they are called Unistrut Spring Nuts. Much more fun than this shit.

...that's basicly what i'm saying to....it just took me longer to do it. I don't hate qweers per se (i actually feel kinda bad for them like you do about a retard) but i hate homosexuality and the fact that in order for them to gain their rights, i have to loose mine.

for two men or two women to marry, you dont lose anyting. two people of the same sex could get married in VA and it would make no difference in your life, besides losing your pride or adding to your bigotry.

When queers have a right to get married they gain their rights. When i get looked at weird because i don't like ******s and little stars automaticaly pop up when i call them what they are <<<< i loose mine. There's no up without down and no left without right. If i shouldn't be allowed to call you a ******, you shouldn't be allowed to call me a bigot (hipotethicaly speaking). Do you not see the irony in that or you just like to argue for the sake of it?

calling someone what u said is being spoken in hatred for someone, whereas calling you a bigot since thats the label for what you are and doesnt have hatred behind, it is fine in my book

oh, and besides the blanket statement, you gave no actual example of how it would affect you

I say who cares.. I actually think it would help the economy.. if you think about it. if they let Gays get married.. there would be weddings, which would be all the things that go into a wedding.. all the gifts bought for the Groom and Groom.. haha.. and most of the people would jump on getting married right away... which means the money would be getting pumped into the system like *censored for content*

    VERY VERY well spoken.

    True gospel right here.

they gain rights, and I loose some.

Its just like how its okay for black folks to call me a "kracker", but I'm wrong and prejudice if I was to call one of them a N*g**r. (but sure its fine for them to run around saying it).

Little stars pop up when you use that word, because it is defined as a derogatory term for a homosexual man. Whereas a bigot is defined as someone who is intolerant of someone whose beliefs differ from their own. You, sir are a bigot, I am not saying that to insult you, it is a matter of fact, per the definition of the word.

It's not OK for black folk to call you a "kracker" any more than it is OK for you to call them the n-word. You have just as much right to be offended as they do. The same holds true for any racially, religiously or sexually derogatory term.

Homosexuals asking for domestic partnerships are not taking any of your rights away. They are asking for the same rights that the heterosexual community has. 2 people, no matter what their individual sexes, who have committed to one another should have the same opportunities as everyone else IMO. If you don't like homosexuality, that is your right. There are still many people in this world who are violently opposed to inter-racial marriage. That too is their right. None of us, however have the right to tell anyone what to believe or what is right for them, nor do we have the right to condemn them for it.

I agree, but let's please not call it marriage. Throughout history marriage has been a term to define a union between a man and woman. I have no issue with "same sex unions" or "same sex partnerships", but to define it and call it "marriage" is revisionist.

"Marriage" is a religious term. I agree with you. If I slip, it's just that a slip.

marriage was only taken over by the church in what, 1300 something?? they saw it as a way to turn more profit. i would never say marriage is religious b/c i have friends that went to the courthouse and got married...no church, no priest/bishop/father to "bless" their LEGAL attachment.
