I did a little tinkering and buying this holiday season.

I installed some pod lights behind the grill

    Studio_20151125_134126.jpg
Light output sucks behind the grill so I will change that soon.

I took advantage of the Pelfreybilt Thanksgiving sale.
    20151210_185512.jpg

I bought myself a Sony HDR-AS200V/W action cam for Christmas
    51Ct74kajvL._SL1200_.jpg

I made some adjustments on my trans mount...Likely the cause of the clanking I feel through my shifter over bumps. I added some washers to allow for more adjustment and made a bed of gasket maker for more cushion.

    I won this

So I promptly ordered this to be hard-mounted under the hood
    71Ew7TSs-GL._SL1500_.jpg

And today I reinstalled my Energy Suspension core support bushings so that the large one is on top

Oh, and I ordered a 2nd bed bar from Relentless.

I did some work on the wiring harness for the air compressor today. I used connectors from the RC world, 6.5mm CastleConnector rated for 200 amps.

I'll mount it in my Pelfreybilt bumper where the winch would go when I get it installed, but in the meantime I'll just use the compressor as a portable unit with alligator clips.

I installed the new suspension this weekend. Luckily my 70 yr old neighbor came by to see what I was up to this time so I handed him the prybar while I installed the coilovers.
    20160304_184332.jpg

I worked well into the night to get the rear finished.
I had this little f'er try to roll up on me while I was laying on the ground.
    20160305_205005.jpg

I gained about 3 inches of lift all around.

Tires go on at the end of the week.

Thanks. I'm very pleased with the outcome.
The floorjack was worth every penny during the install.

Glad to hear it on both fronts. 5100 and OME coils are good combo IMO. I too have been quite happy.

I've been getting by using a hi-lift for a long time for vehicle mainteance and really want to get the floor jack, so because you say it's good, I'll get one.

Also, If you ever need a new carrier bearing, check out this poly one over here. I think I'll put that on my list for the future. :)

I have a vibe at 10-15 mph. I'll put a spacer on the CB and see if that takes care of it. I also have extended brake lines arriving today (hopefully mine go on easier than yours). I used the Relentless u-bolt flip kit and it almost hits the shock body on the passenger side so I'm ordering the AllPro kit and Wheelers bumpstops (the Relentless strike plate is massive compared to AllPro). I'll take a pic in a bit. I put the Pelfrey IFS steel skid on the other day and everything lined up perfectly. Can't wait to get some customization done to the bumper so I can get it off to PC. Tires go on tomorrow afternoon, then alignment. Stay tuned for pics. I'm anxious to see how the Camburg UCA's work for you.

I don't have a hi-lift yet, but a floorjack has got to be much easier to use in the garage. You won't be disappointed.

Thanks for the heads up on the CB thread. Mine is holding up very well, but I might consider changing it out.

I swapped out the Relentless strike plate for the AllPro with Wheelers bumpstops this morning.

@Crom ,the truck gods were in fact with me this morning. I didn't have any problem separating my brake lines, but it is a PITA, and I don't wish to do it again.

Thanks. They broke loose pretty easily. It was a victory for mankind...If I had the issues you did, bad things would've happened. I didn't even use penetrating oil.

    My semi-solid transmission mount.
    20160327_125616.jpg

I'm still on a quest to cure a knock in the drivetrain when going over bumps so I ordered another set of bushings to fill the gap in the trans mount. It is incredibly solid, and best of all the knock has been virtually eliminated.

The extra support is noticeable, and gives confidence.

    Installed.

is this a necessary thing? Just curious never seen one before.
also what compressor is that? and do you plan on having an external air supply?
