The factory Qi induction pad works like poop for any of the Samsung phones my family has.

Was curious if anyone has gutted the original Qi pad and replaced it with a Samsung / Anker / etc. wireless fast charger?

I'm ok on wiring but don't necessarily understand if I can just cut and splice in the wires for the charger or not... would love any technical electric advice from the more qualified in the forum.

^ - thank you for linking that - I have searched for that a few times and always come up empty. I'll reach out to OP of that for insights.

Yeah, OP never posted back. I would think you can remove the unit and just swap it with a replacement. Just have to find out size and figure out a mounting solution.
