Well, I got it done. Had to fashion up a receiver bar for the tongue hitch but that didn't take me too long. Little chops saw action and some drilling and it was done. Only think I have left to do it hook up the parking brake cable. I just wanted to get my tools and everything all loaded up and get out of dodge before it was too late. Figured I could do the cable here at home. I'm a little tired of crawling around under that thing so it can wait a few. So far I'm really happy with it. I got an updated version so my cooking drawer faces the correct way vs the older ones that leaves you standing outside the awning when cooking. I'm gonna have to dig around and find my straight receiver hitch or flip my drop hitch.. as it rode a little low in the tongue with the 33's on it. lol... sits pretty high. Looking forward to doing a few mods on it over time. Anyway, again, not the greatest pics.. but I was slamming gatorades all day and only took a leak like once.. that back bay at my cousins shop they built for doing spray in bedliners has one door and no freakin air moves in there at all. I halfway expected to see blue gatorade sweating out of my like those old commercials.. ha ha.

Sorry for the extra pics but this one at a time thing is not working good for me today and I keep getting the loading icon.. guess they loaded and then some..

Not much gains but you get the intake sound lol. Acceleration feels a little better and you don’t get all the heat and having to clean up the filter bc it’s exposed like other intakes. I like it. Honestly I would just save and get the @OVTune and call it a day. Best thing I’ve bought for the truck hands down.

I saw one recently at 4wheelparts, they're pretty slick.

 

I found out mine likes the ECT on, I went from 17 to 20-21 on my drive to work.

What I didn't like about the K&N was that the filter was exposed in the engine bay and would get filthy. Took it off and now it's waiting for another home! Looks nice!
