The truck is already at the shop getting the AC repaired... it also broke yesterday!

Once I get it back, Ill take some pics...

Not the AC... i think it just exasperated the issue and took it all the way. Im hoping its just an expansion valve that needs to be replaced and some new freon (or whatev it is now). It could also be the evaporator behind the dash which I hope not. Thats a 1500-2200k fix since they have to pull the entirety of the dash out and the part is like 1200 bucks.

 

Damn.. hope it ends up being something simple! AC problems are never fun to deal with, especially with the heat were having right now!

Morning SATX had a blast yesterday an finally putting faces to the trucks. I took the easy way An came out unscathed cept a couple scratches. But got to get a good feel of the truck an will conquer the more difficult stuff next time. Also got to winch out Navi poor dude hope he gets his Lexi fixed soon. An Kyle used the Chevy to tow him out.

 

What happened?

 

He had a coolant line bust between motor an firewall wasn’t able to drive out. So Kyle an I went an got his Silverado an he was towing him an the lexi got stuck in the one muddy spot. I pulled out enough till we could hook him back to the Chevy am towed all the way to the front...dem lexi’es be heavy my truck was sliding towards his with e-brake on an in park, Ryan stepped on the brakes an a few people got in the bed an pulled him right out.

 

Nice. Will have to head out there.

Sorry about the damage. How did you manage that?

Im glad i barely ever use AC. Mostly when the ball and chain is ridding shotgun.

 

There was a big drop at the top of a trail called Penthouse and I basically drove right into it. We ended up pulling the skid off later.

I cant drive without the AC though in this heat... truck is useless to me if im dehydrating while driving lol #firstworldproblems

Ya I believe it was the only one in our group. Used it a couple times at the beach also helping out, a defenite worthwhile investment.

Yes sir 9.5 xrc really affordable its a little slow but works.
