I took another trip to the junk yards on the south side near 35/410 this morning. We had a good haul!


New (used) rear window, hood seals, 2 MAF sensors, some shitty "step bars" (going to turn into shitty sliders), and a ton of spare OEM bolts, nuts, washers, fuses, electronic switch/lights and fuse terminals, brake light decal, and a handfull of other junk, cost me $60, witch I though was quite fair.

If anyone is interested in 1st gen parts there were still good parts to be had. This was at South Texas truck salvage off of 353, there were 3 trucks (98',99',01')and 2 were quite stripped.

I saw that too, The black one looks to be intact but the other 2 rolled over and are most likely bent, (I would be very surprised if the driver of the gold one walked away)

The guys there are pretty nice, Been there twice and the prices are fair. The number I used was the one on google maps. They open Monday morning.

I've called about 300 places all over the US in the past three weeks. That was before I found out the AT and MT were interchangeable. If I had the wrong # or a disconnected # I moved on. There's about a dozen I have to retry on Monday here in SA as well as go talk to the body shop guy. There's a guy on another thread that just got his 04 back from a new frame installation courtesy of Toyota. They put him in a new Tundra for 8 weeks while they did their inspections, paperwork and install.

Well its Sunday already, got to move the kids today and hopefully finish the last of the wiring of the place. This time next weekend we will welcome number five grandchild to the mix.
