Yeah, been working on a friends valve body on his tacoma. Man he's lucky too that the power he's making did not tear up his trans.

Later this week I am trying this new toy out.

Hopefully we will see beneficial gains.

 

how much would one of those cost to build i want one if i boost the tacooo

 

Depends on how you want it. Bare aluminum, coated, how big, ports for nos, or gauges, etc. I can say expect around $800-$1000. The company we're using has experience in your engine as well as LCE. You'll have a nice bump in power with one with boost at the same PSI. The average gain I have seen in your engine is around 28 bhp. I cannot remember the torque.

we have to get together and do some off roading guys that would be badass even if its a light trail or even a mud hole or some shit to get a little dirty !!

 

No worries. I'm sure there are some other places around town. I'm used to the abundance of them in Dallas and Houston, just a little shocked there aren't more cool ranges here. Texas Thunder seems like the nicest range, but the people there seem a little odd. It is as though they had a major issue at some point in their history and are overly restrictive with their range rules now.

Don't get me wrong goin muddin is fun been few times (not in my truck) but the clean up and getting all the mud out in places you wouldn't think mud would get is just not fun.

My buddy has mud in his cab of his truck all over the seats/head rest/dash/ down the windows...it don't seem worth it to me.

 

Bass Pro Shop has an indoor range.

 

Saying yes to a friend asking if they can clean their truck off in your drive way is a very bad idea, i speak from experience a year ago lol it can really pile up in the fenderwell haha still have some lumps next to the driveway from that.

 

What are you up to man? What ya doin' outta town?

 

Just spent three hours cleaning mine and the driveway... what's on the driveway is about a quarter of what came off the truck...!
