Just gave him a call! The case he was gonna sell you was for a 6spd AWD FJ lol..

But, he found me one with less miles like 81k or something out of an 07 and sold me it for the same price. Had him do some digging and find me a shifter too so i wouldnt have to worry about that. Out the door 276 bucks. I will PM you a work order number that you can take with you when you go to pick it up (which i really appreciate btw, thank you!). Ill let you know when it's all ready for pickup brother

FML I would have been so pissed off to get another incorrect case! Glad you got that squared away before hand. I'll verify it's the right case as well when I go pick it up.

Thanks bud! Yeah he said the description said part time 4wd but then also AWD, so there was some confusion somewhere along the line. We got it all straightened out though. Thanks man, id greatly appreciate that. Will be good to have another set of eyes that knows what they're looking at

 

Thats a good idea, but i am gonna have to take a bunch of stuff out of the Taco case to make the FJ one work since i have the 6spd. Probably will end up putting an FJ case in the turtle somewhere down the line as well

I think it's doable but you may have to fab a custom cross member. Tortuga is a Prerunner right?

Yep prerunnah. I think my tranny is on it's way out, so ill wait till it craps out, then replace everything and maybe convert to 4wd or just 2wd with a FJ Tcase
