Well you could call around to different places like 4wheel or shit can't remember names. Or you could take the new Coils and shocks and have them assembled then just install yourself.

My first lift I went to 4wheel and its was a good experience. Second lift I put on did in my garage with some guys on here.

    What coils u gunna get?

885s. I don't have any extra weight to warrant the 886s.

The How-to's make it look so easy but I know i'll run into some issues I can't fix myself and then i'll be shit out of luck. I plan on calling around, was just looking for some recommended places people have already been to on here.

When you say 4wheel, you mean 4wheelparts up by the airport? They're the only local OME/ARB dealer around. Found a lot of negative reviews of the company overall but not the one here specifically. Scares me a little. Still waiting for them to get back to me with a total price but I'm guessing a little over $2,000 for a full OME lift w/ 885s, dakar leafs and we'll what UCAs...probably light racing since they're the cheapest.

4wheel will be expensive, if you got the money and feel secure in them then go for it, but installing a lift isn't that complicated seeing as we've done a few here. 885's aren't hard to do, 886's would be a bitch to compress though, and swapping leaf packs out can be a pain and messy (grease) but is doable. I know there is a shop in helotes that might be able to install it cheaper just not sure, never done business with them. As far as uca's go you could go with light racing if you want but I know some guys that have been running stock uca's with their lifts for years with no issues. Alignments are just about always needed after any offroading is done anyway. Also you can't go wrong with dakars they may be a little stiff but your truck won't sag much at all under load or during towing, they are some strong bitches.

Thanks for the info. I sent a feeler out to Off Road Ready in Helotes to see about install prices. Still waiting on 4wheel to get me a total price as well.

I know it's easy in concept but if I run into any issues during the install, i'll be screwed so I really don't want to risk it.

Don't let ORR touch anything with a 10 foot pole. He's a super nice guy and has good prices....but there has been some horror builds from there. Basic lift kits are easy to install...just diy.

Ugh, this is way harder than I thought it would be to find someone to do this for me! Thanks for the heads up.

I'm sure he can handle installing basic bolt on lift kits, that is pretty simple. Anything beyond that, there are better options in my opinion. He may have gotten better over the past few years. But I personally and several of my friends have had some work performed there, and it was not up to snuff. Just FYI.

4 Wheel Parts is decent. They are hard to get a hold of and are always busy, but they stand behind their work. My friend has a very large dealer account with them and all the new Toyotas that they sell with lifts are done at 4WP. Your best bet to get a hold of them is to go over in person and talk to Chris, you can tell him that Shane from Red McCombs sent you.
Another option that you might look into is Blackjack Speed Shop. A buddy of mine just had some work done on his Tundra by them and they did nice work. That shop is owned by Tim Duncan.

Ordering my Camburg unibal UCAs through 4wp on Tuesday... Free shipping ! Idk if I'm gonna have them out them on just cause I'm sure it will be pricy
But I never noticed if they have an alignment rack there? Gonna need them adjusted for sure
