That'll do it, lol. Basically you have to purchase in the first 30 minutes to get his stuff

Ah, sometimes the picture is not always clear! If you are going to mount HD accessories, I would go with a dash mount switch pro, since there is so much room, and avoid the headliner. Wires shorter inside, and the real power goes outside the cab anyway.

I am considering just a little more "steal" power or one wire accessory up top, so I can power Garmin and cameras, which are like 500 ma tops. And regulate with some zeners on a circuit board.

I'd still like a little more room though, but if you are going HD switch crazy, my (dumb) question would be why to up top, when there is typically so much dash space (and blanks!)?

Good question, ‘08 TRD OR has 0 open blanks. I was considering swapping the lower dash for a later model but that only gets me 4 locations at most for $170 (if memory serves) I have access to some pretty useable multi conductor wire that would work well up there but by the time I buy/build everything it would take to do the job clean under the hood, I could almost buy a switch pro and be done. I used to enjoy wiring until I started doing it for a living lol.

Wow, I only have SR5 Prerunner. It has 3 blanks next to fog switch (next over should be inverter), I will have to take some pix for you for reference, but they matter not really. I am looking to do only lightweight work, I might be able to do without a $95 adapter. I would like to say I have former friend in the ENG group that would print me that up, but not in the environment they work in!

Thanks, just got to hotel at halfway point. Took me almost 2 hours more than expected due to traffic leaving San Antonio and Austin

It was an interesting drive. A deer almost ran out in front of me while doing 70mph right before I crossed into Arkansas and spooked the hell out of me. They gave me 3 days to make the trip but making it in 2 so I can explore the base and the surrounding area before the 1st day of class. Going to be looking for trails on the weekends to take the truck on.

And 10 hours behind wheel of Taco, not the most comfortable. I think I sit too upright cause back started cramping as soon as I laid down on bed

I'm curious to your route- as you included Austin? Just big points if you don't mind. I love being on the road.
