A little something every chance we get.
Fixing the plumbing parts has been far harder. They soaked in PB Blaster, then Lime Away, now in White Vinegar. I bought a couple cheapo rubber grab wrenches, and that damn escutcheon will not budge off the handle! And both are obsolete.....
    Try again tomorrow!

Patience is the best tool you can use. I have to take a step back sometimes when im getting no where and getting frustrated

We have a working shower/bath, just be glad to write this one off! How @Kolunatic has the patience to deal with WORSE on a daily basis, I don't know.
I will break these pieces, or find something suitable. I finally at least found out what the "series" name was today - problem is that they made that "series" several different ways..... If it doesn't break open tomorrow - THE PHONE!
(NO BOSS, NOT THE PHONE! - YES - THE PHONE!)

Looks like everyone to bed early once the heat returned!
Gonna mow in the morning, I think, because it already looks like I forgot last week!
So, I might be here a bit, otherwise...…..

No doubt, brother. I have to say the weight of the set up on the front of the Tacoma is much more "present" than I was expecting, having come from old school GM 4x4's for decades. I think it's even taken some of the weight off my back tires .. lol. In the rain yesterday, on a hill in a curve, I was doing about 45-50 for a car that was turning off the road ahead of me, once they had turned I proceeded to try and get my speed back up and I felt the ass end get a little loosey goosey. Which under the same conditions before the winch/arb I don't think it would have done anything. Trying to push that extra weight up in the front with too light a rear is somewhat noticeable in the tacoma. And in those conditions, didn't have stellar results. So, I suspect a rear bumper is in my not too distant future.. if for nothing else, to help even things out some. Although I always planned on one anyway. It won't be before my July trip though, so hopefully it won't be too much of an issue in the meanwhile.

I noticed the weight difference with just the skids and the rock sliders, very noticeable. In fact I ended up adding a puck up front on top of my coils just gain some of my lift back. I finally pulled the trigger on the bumper(s), takes a while for them to make it to me so they will eventually get on the truck, but I did do both at the same time so shall see how that goes.

Where you headed off to this summer?

    Ha

I have thought about it a few times, the small barn in the back needs some attention. The original insulation, if you call it that, is starting to peel away from the ceiling so have thought about doing spray foam up there to help replace it.

Zombie house nap time sounds more accurate, on my end at least.

Good morning guys. I’ve been a little absent in the evenings, I started rewatching Deadwood and I forgot how good it was lol. If you’re on the east side I would avoid being west bound on Rittiman today if you can. We are gonna be shutting down a lane around 0830.
