Maybe what you got now would level me without the spacer block I have, and you could recover a little money. If they ride pretty good. Massive loads not in my future! If I tow a trailer, it only needs to carry reservations! :anonymous:

Hey Eric! Guess we're figuring out who's on the road, and who's just "enjoying a beverage"!

I’m really happy with my TSB pack and AAL for what it does on the road, but she’s only gonna get heavier. I’ll let you know for sure, I’m shopping and deciding just how deep I want to go now. :frusty:

I think I have what you mean by the TSB - mine were replaced with new springs under warranty for another owner in the recall. @MattCowsmasher didn't recommend the AAL leaf lift for me, and he knows pretty well what I expect. I thought I saw you had OME back there, but I didn't read every page catching up. Can't believe I wasn't watching your build!

Getting ready to adjust some new headlamp aiming when twilight comes around. Just enough to get by. Got new head assemblies coming next week. I had never adjusted them after the lift, and I OVERCOMPENSATED! Coming home from Triple C, I actually had to drop some speed and not outdrive them.
She doesn't see a lot of night time driving, so I will get a better align for the new Silver Stars I put in, and just go get it done after I get new ones.

How do you adjust? After lifting my front, I want to adjust just a tad downwards

Well, I just bought the longest Philips driver I could because my hands don't get there real easy, but it's just a little geared wheel on the outside bottom of each side. Google and you will have more You Tube with pictures than you can shake a stick at. There is a side by side adjustment, but I didn't mess with mine.
And all the laminate has come off my OEM, which really makes for "no focus", so I can't recover by treating (though they still look beautiful), so that's why I ordered up some new ones.

Nope, I put a “soft AAL” in. I kinda cheaped out on my first suspension run since it was all still original 08 goods when I bought it. It rides pretty well but it’s not enough for me now and it was designed as a holdover setup. Archive Garage is calling my name for the Dakar setup.

NP! No telling where I read what anymore, and I only go to like three threads regularly. I'm in no rush - my OEM were actually replaced in 2015 so they are very new in terms of life. Around 180K as I recall....

OK, brighter, and higher enough for now might bump them a little more tomorrow. With no laminate on the lens, the focus is bad, and the better lights make it more obvious. But, there is only one morning trip to C&C on the agenda before it's gets new, so all good.

And, @ALI3N_123, I have a long Philips that doesn't do the trick. It's probably an 8 mm hex, but you can pretty easily turn the whole thing by hand.
