For those kinda following my arisaka research, I've been able to identify some of the markings. @Bigdaddy4760

I've identified the maker's mark as the Nagoya Arsenal which manufactured Type 99 Arisakas from 1923-1945. This is a 7.7mm Jap chambered rifle. This rifle was also intended (read issued) to the military reserves in Japan at the end of the war. Series number puts it on Series 10 manufacture, which is the second to last 99,999 rifles to be produced at the Nagoya Arsenal (series 11 was an additional 99,999 and series 12 was only 1,000 units before production ceased). That puts it around the late 1944 time period. The bolt and magazine are 014 ending serial numbers and do not match the reciever which is 78189. I haven't been able to find any import markings, leaving me to believe this is a war bring-back and the top receiver markings are filed/ground-down leading me to believe it was surrendered. The top markings are usually removed to preserve the honor of the emperor and is quite common.
