I'm ok with this. If we leave buccees by about ~7-715 we'll have plenty of time. I figured we could park in the grass where all the other trucks go. This way we don't have to fight the ricers in the parking garage :D

San Antonio!! What's up! Just found this thread lol

Anyhow, I'm wondering if anyone here in SA has the right equipment and tools to install a 3/1leveling kit??? I am going to buy a Rough Country 3inch lift for my 3rd gen but don't wanna have to pay the crazy labor cost at a shop!

So has anyone here installed a couple leveling/lift kits themselves the proper way and would you be up to doing one soon?? Let me know, maybe we can work something out!! :D:fingerscrossed::cheers:

Yea just up front nothing in the back. I got quotes from a couple of places for just a rear block and a 3" lift and it'd be just about the same price couple dollars difference so why not just do a 3" right?

Plus I still rub slightly on this two inch spacer and a 3 " would clear the part I rub on.

The 2inch that I currently have? I paid 310 w/alignment at River City Creations. Someone is selling a Rough Country 3in lift for $200 and I'm trying to get a hold of him.

Longhorn Truck Accessories quoted me $489+tax for the same 3in lift purchase, installation, and alignment. If I take in my own kit then they quoted me roughly $240 for installation and alignment. About a 40 dollar difference more of less. I'm pulling the trigger on that kit though cuz that's the cheapest I found it at anywhere here in San Antonio.

@Donttellsean the ride to me has been the same can't really notice a difference in ride. The look I've kind of gotten over now and want something different because the truck with that 2in front spacer is giving the truck a "bro lean" or nose up kind of look at starting to hate it.

@imsuperjp right now with just the front spacer im 23 1/8" up front center to fender and rear im at 22".

With the 3in up front and w/the 2in rear block id be about 24 1/8" front and 24" rear. I'd be pretty level.

If you guys are looking for a cheap lift then thats not bad but if you guys plan to put bumpers or heavy stuff on your trucks then you may want to look into Bilstein 5100's with OME coils. I have a spacer lift on mine when I bought it and its great for mall crawling but not for off roading. Just a couple things to think about.

I have a pair of 5100's with 887 coils I am going to put on the truck with an AAL to retain my 3 inch lift. However, I will need to buy UCA too keep my truck in spec where with a spacer lift you dont need that.

I don't off road just all hwy miles, maybe an empty lot every now and then but nothing like off roading. I am fine with spacer lift as it's just for looks. I will eventually get a legit kit done later on. But that's a ways down the road or till I get a 4x4 at least.
