No way! just had to switch from a Bestop to a Softopper due to a bed rack fiasco. Long story. About to pull the trigger on a RTT. Here's what she looks like now. Rotopax on the other side too.
I've been meaning to ask where you went dude. Miss you and your Taco in the parking garage.....hopefully moved on to something better.

Just got it and not the same company. The huge layoffs and being in San Antonio made me think it was

Yea I left on my own accord and wasn't laid off but a lot of those guys were middle management that had maybe a couple reports . A lot of old school rackers but they worked themselves into roles that weren't needed

Correct....I ordered a Bestop bed rack and the Bestop wouldn't fit under it. The Bestop is a little higher and the sides are a little wider at the top than the Softopper. I finally convinced the fab shop of their mistake and/or they realized their mistake, and they sort of made it right.

Noticed some differences from the 2 gen to the 3rd gen when using the Bestop. I have to put the rear tailgate bar in upside down to be able to close the tailgate. I can tell that its higher and thicker than a 2nd gen taco.

Welcome to Texas. Typically there's cars and coffee meets or mini trips to hidden falls. Stays quiet in here though.

Never been to the San Antonio one but there's good turnouts at the one in Austin, about an hour away.
    This was back in October
