I don't really care for sports teams just a bunch of people that make more money than me

 

I didn't watch it, or any part past game one. It was NOT my curse.
There has NEVER been a World Series where the road team won every game. Never. So, the Astros can have some kind of a first.

 

yeah and the last world series Washington won was 1924 and the last time they were in the playoffs was 1933

 

As the Senators.
And Houston never made the series as part of the National League. I loved them in their 70's stripes, and listened to every playoff fail in that decade back in Michigan (on the radio).
Tigers last won the series in 68. The few chances they've had since then, fail. Heartbreaking fails, and I determined I can't watch - because they were ahead until I did.
I was 3 years old in 58 when the Lions were last champions of the NFL. Needless to say, frustration since then.

Yep. But now I am free to watch the Astros next year, in the series. I don't watch regular season. I didn't cause the fail!

 

I don't watch any regular season sports oy follow in the playoffs

 

I forgot the Tigers WS Champs in 1984, because I was travelling all the time. Only watched bits and pieces, and forgot all about it. Last two appearances, ARGH!
BTW - did you know: One of the AL's eight charter franchises, the club was founded in Detroit as a member of the minor league Western League in 1894 and is the only Western League team still in its original city. They are also the oldest continuous one name, one city franchise in the AL!
The Lions, I am forced to watch any chance I get because they never sniff it! And not going to miss it if they do!
