A little something every chance we get.
Indeed, that is pretty much it. If anything, too successful and too popular - ate all their time.
All that stuff went up for auction.

Wife has been following them on FB since we visited. She told me about the Auction. I can't imagine just walking away form something like that, with exception of health issues. We had planed on stopping there again on our next trip. Sorry to see it go.

it was a good 50/50% place. Used to work down the road and those were the odds of getting a lunch there. Packed.

Yep I know, got to support the habit somehow.

It was a long day today, guess I need to relax more on the weekend.

Things. Stuff. Lots of bad decisions.

I've been reading a lot about heavy vs light flywheels. I'm back on the heavy flywheel bandwagon. A lot of people love it for everyday use and swear by it off-road, so I've been swayed.

I'm thinking I can do the clutch and slave in a day. I'm hoping everything comes in while I'm still out of work. It's really like to get it and the front diff stuff done before I start on the crawlbawsk.

If the crawl box comes in before I get released to go back to work, I'll go to North Carolina to install it. My dad has every tool imaginable, a lift, and he's a transmission/drivetrain guru. He mostly does race cars but I have no doubts he'd be able to help me with this install... in his sleep even. We'll see what happens with that.

I've had heavy and light in other platforms. It's about keeping the revs up more than the loss in rotating mass. Power mods are nearly pointless in our trucks. Off-road, keeping the revs up in between gears and the continued momentum of the flywheel allows the engine to work less hard at lower rpms when crawling.

I will say i was a bit surprised whenever you said you were going with the lightweight one originally, just bc of what you plan to do with the truck. I think you wouldve been in good shape since you are adding a crawl box, but i do think the heavy one would suit your build more. Do what you think is best! I do think the extra mass will be nice for when youre crawling it in difficult situations
How much longer you off from work sir? you probably can do it in a day if you arent messing around. I took a long time but it was my first time ever doing one so i was a little skeered and went slow.

thats awesome! Sounds like a great place to do everything and knock it all out. Off topic, but are you from NC originally??

What dealer do you guys recommend for service? I bought mine at Red McCombs and they’ve already blown me off twice for small warranty issues. My 1 year service/oil change is due next month, thinking about trying north park.
