A little something every chance we get.
I have a separate switch for the built in lights - the wiring goes as far as the back seat at the moment, but is ready when I find the "easy to find" hole in the back of the cab!

Actually, for the 5 days it's been in, quite a bit. I didn't crimp one wire well, and had to put a new connector on, and I lost a label (they are sending a new sheet, as soon as Spring Festival is over in China!). Switches feel good, I will downsize the fuses (everything comes with 20 and (1) 30! It's not taking too much space. I'm told that there is now a "prewired SPOD" kit that is only $150, in a similar package - but I have not seen it for real.
I am a happy guinea pig for now, and I paid $4 for extended warranty. Company is very responsive to email questions too. I give it an early thumbs up. Also, everything controlled is not a daily use item, so I won't be wearing it out. Once a week off roaders would use it they way I have it on those once a week runs.

I got a question on your (or any) rock lights - did you just have one control box and wiring that goes all through the truck? Cheap ones I looked at didn't have but a couple feet between LEDs. I have one circuit dedicated, and made wiring provision to deliver that switch front and back.

I have a control box for the rock lights, but they have their own harness. I routed the factory harness for the lights, wired my own power wire from my "custom" aux fuse panel. My goal to reduce wiring and eliminate grounds when diagnosing was only wire power from my aux fuse panel and ground the accessories locally.

That way, if a ground goes bad, it should either affect a factory component or only one accessory.

I guess I should have been more specific - the "harness" - controller to the LED's. Prefabbed with enough wire? Did your controller have a remote, or did you just mount both in the cab so they will work. Those Xmas lights I threw on had IR remotes - can't go through glass and metal.
