I drove by luckenback last night around 12:30 and they had a bonfire to size of a two-story house on the parking lot I was like what kind of redneckery crap is going on here I had to stop and see what was going on

 

Dealership wants $1189 to start but they said they'd note anything and everything wrong.

Is it worth the time and money to try to take it to small claims court?

Yeah, aside from being pissed I'm really let down.

Not sure what to do. That's going to be a total of $1800 for a freaking clutch job if I go to the dealership. But I'm afraid their documentation would be the only one that would hold up in a court.

$700 clutch, $500 slave, $400 flywheel, $600 bad labor, $1200 to fix it, $3400 total FML

 

I would be tempted to go back by and talk to them about this before resorting to the dealership, tell them let’s go for a drive and see what they say.

Hf transmission jack alot cheaper....plus yours would be easier to work on than my GTR. I would diy but thats me in your condition if you had help id go that route. I have to ask did the shop just do a tob or a tob plus new clutch and flywheel?

 

I borrowed Robert's trans jack at CnC Saturday and was looking forward to doing this one myself. I probably should have just asked for help from the get-go but that's my stupid fault for being stubborn, I guess.

New clutch, flywheel, and internal slave to do away with the TOB.
