I believe they have a set around 1600. It would have to be one hell of a discount. And want they charge to swap out the balljoint is crazy thinking I might do it myself.

 

They have the regulars which are the $1600 and the expeditions which are $180 more I think. I'll call DSMS tomorrow and see what they can do. I was thinking about sending in all four of my shocks for them to fully rebuild and renew. They've got about 50k since the last rebuild and I want to change spring rates and update the valving to compensate. Might help with a price break.

 

Hey Maner (@Bigdaddy4760), when you would wind up your rear winches, how would you make sure the cable was winding up properly?

 

When in a bind and using it I just got my self out. Then would rewind later with help if needed. I never really had that many issues with overwrap.

 

Good to know. I'm thinking synthetic rope will help, too. Bird-cages suck!

 

Yes they do. First thing I do is get the steel rope off my winch’s cause that’s some cheap stiff braid they sale with them. I would get a soft lay multi strand winch rope. Like what they use on rig up trucks. But that was all before they came out with the synthetic ropes.
