No odor and I’m not hot but ceiling fan stays on.
I wish I bought it long time ago. I used to have to do morning stretches to get my boots on. Not anymore.

Might also consider the pillow you use. I used to wake up in pain every morning and was about to throw some money on a mattress. The wife brought home some new pillows and it made a world of a difference.

Disappointing. I did a lot of reading on a lot of lifts before I spent any money and I thought I had put together a kit that would ride and perform well. I opted for the 887 springs for a little bit more height and a heavier spring rate as I planned to run steel bumpers and full skids. However, front and rears were rough and even after getting the bumpers on they really didn't soften up. It might be better with the 886's, heavy bumpers, armor and a winch or even 885's and bumpers, but I wouldn't buy the shocks again after riding on King's. The truck was so rough it would pop out the trim around the stereo and made everything inside rattle and vibrate. And that was on pavement. Unpaved and off-road was worse.

Well that gives me to even think about, was trying to decide on some shocks during Black Friday deals but no one is really doing much for deals on shocks. They can get pricey quickly

lol tell me about it. At least with the big name brands like Icon, ADS, King, and Fox, you tend to get what you pay for. I would advise against a digressive shock for anything other than desert racing and quality progressive shocks will do the same thing. If you need help, just ask, I've done a bit of reading.

I can tell you I am very happy with my extended travel Kings and with the 12"-stroke Kings in the rear. The rears work very well with Dakars - in fact I have nothing but good things to say about the Dakars. Just be cautious if you find a used set. I got my fronts for $800 and sent them to DSM to be rebuilt. $580 to rebuild and $140 to ship them out there. I would have actually saved money buying them new.

Edit - I have Bilsteins on my XJ, they ride pretty nice! Well they did, I need to replace them.

The thing that I am most surprised about all this is that the shocks need to be rebuilt at a certain stage in their life. Heck the price you pay for them and then rebuild later...for me that’s almost a killer as the truck is my main mode of transportation so it being down to get shock rebuilt.....

I guess that is what is making look at the ome and possibly the bilsteins :(

Unless you are desert racing you can expect 25,000 miles before they’ll benefit from a standard rebuild which is around $100. Then you literally have brand new shocks. Mine had bent shafts, blown seals and gaskets, and eyelets that needed to be replaced among other things.

Well, anyone know a lot about light bulbs? I have changed the blinker and running light on my bumper 3 times now in just over a year.

I found an LED replacement hoping that will work, but I am hoping it wasn't from a bad wiring job... might have been, because I did it myself... I hope I didn't eff it up, should be easy to fix if so.

Here is some pics of the bulbs, the bigger one is the yellow blinker and the small one is the outside white driving light. And the last one is the replacement, seems to work fine. I just installed and tested it, need to give it time I guess.

Im running the same sylvania zevo amber bulbs that you are in my arb turn signal lights and i havent had any problems yet. Been running them for about a year now. If you do have problems with them though, they have a lifetime warranty so id just get them to send you some more and then maybe go through your wiring to see if thats the problem. Id assume everything is good though. Incadescents just dont last as long

Ok, thanks! From looking at the bulbs, I am kind of concerned that it was from water or something getting in the light, besides my wiring.
