Dam quiet in here today

 

The other night, I posted about a lot more banging and clunking under the front under almost any road imperfections. Quick look this morning showed no grease or broken things, but it looks like the sway bar is loose on both sides. Thoughts?




Pics aren't greatest, but looks like nuts could be tightened almost 1/2 inch (?)

 

That's what happens with the lift and big tires Kurt you're going to have a lot more wear and tear

 

I'm curious why there's not a lot of mods for the Highlander they make a crap load of mods for the 4Runner in the Sequoia but not really the Highlander

Hit it with an impact and see if it turns. I get some banging and clanking from the front but I think I've got a loose LCA bolt. I should probably address that.

 

Thanks both of you guys. Finally inside, and my ONE good photo looks just like Roberts. Both sides. I read some about it while I was working on the irrigation system, and came to realize that was a stud, and backing bolt behind the arms. I will make sure they aren't falling off tomorrow, but the torque spec is only 10-20 ft lb.
I have what COULD BE one of those spacers on the passenger side that looks "cracked" on the side - but it has been exactly the same since @MattCowsmasher and @Beretta4x4 put the front bumper on - has gotten no worse, and no hardware is loose either.
Yes, I bang and clang over almost any imperfection. But it really steers fine, given pizza cutters. Imagine any imperfection pissing you off with clunks and bangs....
Time for Kings or Icons or sumpin.....
