An old farms saying is when you plant trees get an old coffee can and fill it with nails and let them soak in water. After they start to trust pour the water out and dump the rusty nails in the hole before planting the tree. The iron is suppose to be good for trees.

I got two with your name on them. They're small, only getting the hot morning sun during to positioning of my apt. I'm moving to a home on the 15th so after that if I can find a way to send them up your way that would be great! They would thrive in your greenhouse!

Hey everyone, haven't posted in a long time. Got busy with work and life, and I finally realized that my mental and physical health was suffering due to not taking time away from work. Got so much damn PTO saved up, I dont know what to do with it.

However, last Thursday I took some time off and headed up to Hidden Falls and signed up for a yearly membership. Spent about 8 hours there decompressing, and plan on using the membership to go up there about once a month. (I've got about 4 hours of dashcam footage to upload of me driving down several trails).

I've order parts from both Toytec and Low Range offroad to completely upgrade/replace my stock busted and worn suspension and replace worn steering parts. Already have an appointment scheduled with Texoma as well (He has been excellent with helping me order the correct parts).

Got the parts in from Toytec already, except for two items that they notified me were on back order, but am still waiting for Low Range to ship the parts (it's been a week already since ordering, and no update on my order, still just 'processing'). I've read good things about low range on these forums, but at this rate the parts that were on back order from Toytec will arrive before my Low Range order even gets processed.

Hope to run into any of you all whenever I'm at HF.

Anybody ever drug a vehicle that is parked?

Let's say, hypothetically, this is a repeat offender in your assigned parking spot.

And for arguments sake they drive a midsize Lexus SUV similar to an RS350.

On dry ground(Concrete parking lot),with 4wd engaged, can it be done effectively?

    Asking for a friend. :anonymous:

Now for a Tacoma I don't think it has enough low end touque or weight in the rear to do it without spinning tires

Hey Alex! I appreciate it. Maybe I'll find a way to pick them up. I am "free to travel" more so than "free to go out for anything" from my health master! PITA being old sometimes! But I get a lot of freedom getting plants! Tuesday, I have the other heart Dr., so along with dropping by Toyota for some RAV4 warranty, I'm going to Seguin again just to get some Milkweed plant for butterflies!

    Evening everybody and anybody!
Not too much excitement here today. Spread DE in the yard to help with fleas, planted some veggies in trays and alongside the greenhouse, played with more drip fittings, and put the exciting mesh on the greenhouse door. Why? I don't really know!! A friend did it with hers. Won't stop bugs or anything. Might make a little shade! Probably going to shed the door until fall anyway.
Kid worked away on the desk, and won't need me again until it's time to make our own brackets for the slide drawer.

Almost got to the speaker in my truck door. But I got to have a Margarita with my Taco Salad dinner! And a few beers during all that hard work! (Yep, watching my numbers every day. Been over a month at under 230, and that's great for me. Had one week at 225!)

Right on, we can work something out for sure. After I get settled in the new home I'll be available to meet up for the transfer. By the way, greenhouse is looking awesome!
