Nice garden bud! On retirement, we thought about moving, but never could decide on a target. But I paid off the house just before getting pretired, and we have our own beach with the pool, so we decided to invest in solar for the electric bill, and get those pesky details fixed up instead. This year, the focus (by me anyway) was to whip up on the back yard. Wife's still pissing about little things, but she finally likes the almost finished project.

 

There's a new subdivision in the Blanco area that's selling 2 acre plots of land starting in the low 50s with water/electric

 

We will be there!!!!

Indeed. Ideally I would like about 10 acres, a nice sized garden, chickens, and a few goats. along side a bee farm. Imo the lookout for some land,hopefully soon I'll find it.

Thanks! I'm trying to figure out what part of the yard is best for my winter garden. I'm about to start up on the seeds here soon indoors.

Good afternoon everyone!

Update: i installed @CaliRaisedLed bed stiffners in anticipation of the RTT on Sunday.
Just recieved a confirmation email from @KB Voodoo that my bed rack is on the way! Getting excited!

Now we just need this travel ban to be lifted! I want to make a drive out to the grand canyon and or/ big ben!

I know I'm the new guy on the block with only a week here in SA so far but if you got room for another 1st gen then I'd love to join in.

 

Here's a photo of the finished "she shed" that i forgot to upload a couple weeks ago that i built. Everything is an original floor plan that i designed and built entirely by myself. I'm still planning to do some landscaping around it, with DG and stepping stones as well as add a gutter/rain catch system in the back.
