Did you get new UCAs too, or are they just cleaned up and painted? Can't wait to hear about the ride to work!

Nope they were installed when I originally did the lift. I just cleaned things up a little while I was in there. I have more work that I want to do. One of the bushings is bad so I will need to deal with that sooner then later. I also found out that my timing cover has a leak, figured it was due to show itself as it seems to be common for the 16/17 models, but it appears that it can be dealt with by some work on the power steering pump connection. This was an issue on the 2nd gens as well.

When I first got LBR, the Toyota shop would tell me I had an oil leak on the cover every time I went in. I saw it was more dry than oily though, and kept hitting it with degreaser at the power wash. Now it's just a "stain", and they never say it's leaking. Hopefully, some clean up and connection checking will do it for you!

I would need to find the specific thread again but it appeared they filed part of the power steering pump to make it fit better which in return made a better seal for the timing cover. I also was not prepared to take the skids off yesterday to get a better look at it, oil change is coming soon so I will work on it then.

    ^dang that sucks.

We were 4hours North, NW of SA, we cut our plans short, left yesterday knowing that we could be stuck at the ranch for a day or two longer than planned, especially with the N laws.. they received 4-5 inches of snow yesterday.59CCE26D-C9EF-40CA-AA2A-436554F01C5D.jpg

I would have like to stay, but I got plenty of stuff at home to do vs playing in the snow.

A good all terrain tire will take of you in most cases versus buying snow tires. There are those who prefer to buy the studded ones just for that time of year though.

    Nope, no need.
    good deal.

Honestly if it snows bad enough around here you think I’m going to go and see it when 90%of the drivers here have never driven on snow....I sit home and laugh.
