Time to relax and plan for this weekends hunting a little bit.

 

Is the season still on I thought it ended the first week of January

 

Bucks end this Saturday then special late season begins where you can still hunt does and spikes until the end of January. Then it is sanctuary once again.

 

Or are you hunting axis

 

Any places to lease down there

 

Okay gotcha I saw a nice size axis buck last night on 1376 he was chasing a dough and stopped in the middle of the road I didn't feel like running him over

I'll be looking shortly. I met a patient about 3 weeks ago. He told me he could get me on a 32,000 acre parcel that had only 12 other hunters on it. Due to the laws in place and prying ears, I couldn't give him my number. However, I'll be looking for next season for sure.

 

I just got this one on a trail camera last week. I'm trying for him this weekend.

Yesterday when I was at my friend's house on the south side of San Antonio we passed the property for sale it was 68 acres with the house for $489,000 but my friend said the house was tiny 2 bedroom wasn't worth more then 150k
