Guess I need prolonged exposure before making an honest assessment.

If anyone in here wants to buy some black carpet out of a double cab manual trans, mines in great shape. Only has 42k miles on it and the previous owner took excellent care of the truck before i got it at 24k. Ill be installing my all weather flooring next weekend so i wont have any need for it after that.. figured id offer it up to someone in here before i created a thread in the 2nd gen parts marketplace

I hate this crap. The fun I had in my youth I feel all over again in this weather.

Years ago I took a piece of regular wall insulation and folded it over the whole shebang and then cut down a piece of tarp to fit over it. I let it drape down enough to reach the lower water pipe and then fastened it there with some gorilla tape. Doesn't freeze up anymore at all, and my well isn't in a house. I put a few wraps of tape around the tarp/insulation as well to keep it secure. Sort of like a nice big fluffy insulation pillow around it all. The rest of my pipe is just covered with normal pipe insulation and its been great ever since. When I had just some decent insulation running up to the pressure switch it would freeze up all the time. Gotta cover the box and all, and when you do it will make a world of difference.

My phone said it was 860.. but it felt like alot more than that..

During the whole trip i drove 2786 miles according to my trip odometer.. There has to be some kind of error somewhere because i dont think i drove 1000 miles throughout CO while i was there..

The last time I drove up to the area was via central Kansas and then across NE, to reach the Scottsbluff area is close to that distance so it was a wag. Straight through is about 24 hrs.

Well the wife went outside with me for a little bit, we were able to get the rest of the soffit in place on the new shop along with the edges installed. It was mighty chilly doing it but now have cut off the rest of the major wind blowing into the shop.
