Been 25hrs since the this adventure began. The FB page has been entertaining. Ima go wake the neighbors to warm myself and my dogs by sitting in my truck.

Good Morning SA and everyone! I hope everyone finds power today. We survived the overnight 5*, and everything appears still intact. I'll patrol later. Saw that 42% of Austin Electric customers have NO power. The coops have lesser numbers. Thought we were the energy state? Maybe they going to need to invest in infrastructure instead of shareholders.

 

Will fire up tomorrow. Gonna cook for the church. Lots of elderly needing meals.

 

Well power has been out for nearly 48 hours now. Hasnt been fun but thank god for a propane stove. Power has been out at the office too and that wreaked havoc on our network so still waiting to hear when i can go back in to see if i can even get there. But it has given me some time to get out and take a few pics of the truck. The guadalupe is starting to freeze over in some of the slower moving places which ive never seen before
