Yes sir, on the attached house garage I have a propane stove going just below the attic door. I just put 2 fans up in the attic blowing them towards the heavy accumulation areas of snow on the roof.

Started propane heaters in shop, I'm getting really good melt off the metal roof out there today.

Walked and inspected my water points, all look good, but my neighbors probably have 5 that are froze solid at the house.

Gave fawns corn and fresh water.

Started and ran vehicles for 30 minutes.

    Preparing for round 2.

Afternoon gents. Appears you are desperately needed at work Danny @RockHed ! Glad to see you are at least powered up Mark @LostHusker !

My patrol found all the spigots still dripping. The one I thawed yesterday and wrapped? The towel is a hard shell, but it's dripping away inside. Ran the cars without issue, and shoveled a little path next to each.

I was hoping to see if I could get something to pull the snow off the solar cells, but I didn't get very far. Snow is too packed, ice on top, then powder, and slush or ice at bottom.

I duct taped a corner brace from the microwave box to the push broom (the broom itself did nothing), then made about 16' of extension by taping two pieces of aluminum channel together and then to the broom. It TRIED to work.

    20210216_133119.jpg

I maybe cleared 3 square feet. The sun does better by itself. Oh well.

And LBR is growing stalagmite icicles!

I got the hot water flowing. My old azz ain’t built for crawling around in the attic. Got my temp gun and shot the tubing till I found the frozen part. Then the big dewalt heat gun on it till I heard it start flowing. Then reinsulated and covered a soffit vent where the cold wind was blowing in on it. Just hauled more firewood. Now have a Signet scotch and in for the day.

And the clouds roll in, so no more solar gain. A little more melted around here, and off the solar as well. If we can avoid getting too much freezing rain tonight, and the low holds in the 20's, that will be wonderful. We are supposed to get above freezing a little between 2 and 5 tomorrow. Need sunshine to go with it though!
    Keep hanging in there everyone.
