Need a fox sticker now.

 

Some guys get none, while others get more pussy than they can shake a stick at.

 

No leaks al all, dry as a bone. I checked all the lines and junctions. My reservoir was low so I topped it off and pumped the brakes but they didn’t firm up. The fluid level dropped a little while I was doing that but I still don’t see fluid anywhere.
Could be the master cylinder or booster. I don’t know where the fluid is disappearing to though.

Maybe I got air in the lines.
You don’t just get air in the lines all willy nilly though, I mean to my understanding that is. So there’s got to be something else going on right?

 

Check the bleeders on the calipers and pull the drum and look there. Another possibility is that ur master failed and is leaking and the fluid might be in the booster.

 

Or a leak could also be at the abs pump too. One thing your could do is get a tech stream dongle and run a test using the abs.

I will get more pictures, born on 3/21 or 3/22, probably head back down Sat or on Sunday, probably 1hr 15 drive from your house if ya want to make a visit down yonder.

Interwebz says remove kittens after 8 to 10 weeks.

 

I was told that the parking brake cable gets slack in it and it feels like spongy brake petal

 

The e-brake seems to function properly, I checked the cables and didn’t see anything out of order.

Stuck a zip tie in the booster, came out wet.



I’m guessing the seal between the master and booster kicked the bucket. The booster checks out, it’s holding pressure and seems proper. I don’t know what affect the brake fluid would have on the diaphragm though.

I guess I’m going shopping, any brands you all trust or recommend?

 

I would run centric. Could upgrade to tundra one.

 

When you fix the issue let me know cause I have this issue to i just got use to not having brakes have the time

Check the soft brake lines and make sure thier not swollen and/cracked, a lot of folks swap them out for braided SS lines, the rears can be PITA on some trucks.

 

Already done that I have steel brake lines all 4 tires

 

New fluid and bleed the entire system, start with PR, DR, PF then Drivers front. If problem still exists, most likely the brake Booster, but if it was me, I would change them both out Booster and Master if I had to remove the Booster anyways

 

Grease the zerks on the rotors and drums and call it a day.

 

I've replaced the master and booster already and bled the system many times now I heard that the abs requires you hooking it up to a pc to properly bleed the pump and I've never done that
