As a kid, my dad would tell me that there is plenty of time to sleep when you're dead. He never had a job that would call him out in the middle of the night to fix someone's heart attack and he can literally fall asleep when his head hits the pillow. o_O

    Good Morning to you sir.

    Morning Alex - work?

    Morning Robert - :thumbsup::thumbsup:
Morning Scott - thanks for breakfast
    Morning Mark -
Morning Kevin - sleep is good, and I like it when I get a whole night.

:pccoffee: Good Morning SA! And a wonderful real Friday it is, right? Mowering and cleaning pond filters should be a good start. Got my Amazon warehouse farm jack yesterday - can't believe they made poor USPS deliver it - just a damaged box, and a shiny and intact heavy ass piece of metal sticks! Guess I will find a home for it sometime. Have the shortest possible day!

We got just about 3” of rain last night, another 2” the day before.
Flash flood warnings rolled in all night.
    More forecasted all week!

Agreed, El Paso did not build their city infrastructure to handle lots of rain well.
It is super green here though! Relatively speaking, since it is the desert.

Wife seems to be fine. She's got a mild fever but honestly you wouldn't know she's sick. She's been making fun of me because I couldn't get off the couch when I was sick and here I'm having to tell her to get off her treadmill and rest. A lot of "men are such babies when they're sick" being thrown around.

Not for me! Two weeks ago I requested this weekend off to hang out with the wife. Didn't expect it to be like this though

I realized the day before yesterday my wife made the tea I couldn't taste. She doesn't make it to South Texas Sweet Tea standards :cookiemonster:

I just got a qtip shoved into the back of my skull, we'll see if I'm sick or not. I don't feel like I am.

    Edit: test came back negative.

I get the same thing from my wife when I'm sick, apparently she has to suck it up every time she is sick :notsure:
But I've heard laying around is not good for you if you have covid, if you can, it's better to move around

    Awesome brother:thumbsup:

Well, glad to hear you're both well enough to argue about it!

Gee, thanks. Breakfast and dinner. But I made Dad burgers and fries. Have some tenderloins to reverse sear sometime this weekend, and some beef short ribs for experimental smokage!

Is anyone here going to the cars and coffee tomorrow? I was planning on going and making it a family thing. My son is 3 and is in the stage where he loves looking at sports cars and big trucks.
