Good Morning SA! Nice, relaxing weekend. Enjoyed all the racing Sunday, and hot dogs. Yesterday, son came over to refinish a new coffee table. He did the work, while I provided the tools and nutserts. Yep - ground out the pins in the legs so he could paint them, and some 10-24 nutserts and bolts to put it back together. Matches his home made furniture now.



Finished up the garage putzing for the time being. Made some wire shelves for parts bins, and got them off the counter. And reversed the "door" (table) hinges, making it a lot easier to get in there for the golf clubs. My bins for the shelf came too.






Being able to prop that other door open makes about 5* difference in the garage temp, with the wind able to flow through!



That was the last major garage deal until I can sell the junk in the middle. Now, I wait for the new pool filter and Zeolite to show up later this week.

 

Well back to the grind today, three day week....

lol, we didn't hit 100 till August last year, we already had 6 days this year and more to come, not to mention the lack of rain.

 

It was great day SA.

My Orange is now local, trucked in from the factory, I have a few upgrades being added on by the dealer like radio, armor, backup camera, and it should be ready to pick up next week. Not sure how I'm going to afford my fuel bill, lol gotta order 300 gallon minimum.

 

I had cars that wouldn't burn rubber; they could scrape dirt. And now, looks like you got one too!

 

Hey SATX people! So I have obtained a bunch of parts and pieces and need to know who the go to local installer is. I would love to do it myself (or lend a hand to whoever I can get to install it)... I just don't have the skills, tools or time to do it on my own.

I need front and rear lift kit, Eibach Stage 2, icon minipack AALs and JBA UCAs. Along with a ECGS bushing and seal to replace the needle bearing.

All on a 2021 Tacoma TRD Sport.

I contacted Triple C chop shop but it is a ways away and they cant do it till September... if I cant find a local option I will go up there.

 

when ever it cools off, you need to come down and get your mesquite wood and try out this Orange. I'm about to get into the full swing at the farm, last year I was burning about 12 to 15 gallons of diesel a day during the summer, I'm hoping this machine is a bit better on the smiles per gallon.
