Had a wonderful Fathers Day; with Carol's delicious oven ribs and a mango avocado salad. Strawberry shortcake for desert too! Son worked over the back of the Darth Previous - he'd had a ridiculously long week with dealers trying to fasten a bottom tray (unsuccessfully). So we jacked it up, and he pulled it off for now. Missing the rashed off corner where the duct tape is. Got some part numbers I will research for him, then we'll put it back on. Or, he will - while I supervise! Then we all hit the pool for a while before dinner! Wonderful.





Now, we just have to figure out why the phone is gone nuts and not working. Spectrum to arrive this PM to check their end, as they do have some problem they think. I have email into VTech support as well.

Water Day, gotta keep my wildlife around.
I have atleast 11 tubs out, gotta place sticks into the water so the birds have the means of egress. Some of the Live oaks are starting to turn leaves, so I will be watering them best I can. I have a friend gonna get me some more of those totes from his work, another 4 totes.

 

Was able to get out and wheel a bit. good saturday.

I can’t imagine pulling that off a city tap, that’d be right up there with the fuel bill.

How big is the area you’re tending?

 

I did 8 totes and a few barrels yesterday, and the energy costs for that was maybe $4 dollars. This is at my farm, its 50 acres. My neighbors are going through a divorce, and I'm hoping I can purchase thier farm as well it's adjacent to my place.

That’s a good deal! We had well water where I grew up in rural Ohio but I never thought to ask about the associated costs.

Good Morning SA! The phone issue was in house wiring - and still is. So, the base unit is in the office direct to the modem, and a remote unit will be in the dining room where it was. On a shelf. That should be here today. And mounted with some wall repair. Ain't nobody going into the attic to run a new line from the office to the DR for quite a while. But the shelf had to be big enough for the base when it does happen, because someone wants it there.

Going to drop off the freezer today, and on the hunt for some squirrel feeder hardware. Tossed the old wood one off the fence, and need something a little more raccoon resistant. I have a plan. Or a plot. Or a hare-brained scheme anyway.

Going to change out my ac compressor and noticed this… torn boot.. wondering if I can rebuilt it?
