Good Morning SA! Prep, prep, prep. You'd think it was painting! Wondering why I closed up the rear spigot, knowing full well watering greenhouse was on the list for today? Oh well, only take a few minutes. Already have firewood ready, but I might split some more, because it's not going to rain and it's fun! Can just stack it by the side door. Just a haircut, and a quick errand, then home to wrap things up. And, I guess I put off wrapping things long enough - tomorrow should be perfect for that.

Yep! Even more wood stacked up to keep the wifey and dog warm in the living room. That FP insert is great. Wish it would work in the sunroom! Stay warm, bud!

 

I just got some firewood too, finally had an excuse to buy a chainsaw to cut up the log. Spent half a day chopping it up.

 

I am having fun with the toy I got - electric log splitter! The FP insert is much smaller that the old fireplace (of course, no draft, real heat, and all night fires!), so I needed an easy way to split the logs I got last year. Usually only do a dozen or so at a time, so never work it to hard. Or me, sit in a chair, drink the beer, put it where it goes when done!

I hope you're loving your new job. My son left that jeweler I told you about, to work much more happily for an independent jeweler.

Good Morning SA! Few more details outside; secure the shade cover I put over the greenhouse (as a wind protection, more than anything), set the pool to run, and get the smoker set for Christmas - so I don't have to do it in the cold. Then, run back inside and wrap when it starts to blow after 12!

 

12....hmm the few leaves in the trees are starting to rustle now.

 

Should get a windy shirft from the West, for about an hour before it howls from the North! Just wrapped up here.

 

Good to know, been playing with the f150 outside, installed the rest of the skid plates that arrived yesterday.
