Good Morning SA! Just got off the phone with the freight line - my next project will be dropped tomorrow. So, plan for today is.... more coffee, and I'll figure that out.

Afternoon gents, been MIA for a bit, from working OT, to spending time with the kids and trying to finish up honey do’s ….. they’ve been keeping me busy. Hope everyone is well.

Evening folks, taco Tuesday with the in-laws.

Picked up a welding table yesterday. My wife’s grandfather built it and her uncle had it for years, it wasn’t being utilized anymore so they offered it to me.

It’s relatively small but it is an absolute tank, took four guys to move it.







I also got a job at a shop, it’s fun and easy on my knees.

 

It IS a tank. Already cracked the floor!

It almost put a hole through the trailer deck when we loaded it up!
I pulled the vise apart and started cleaning it, it looks like it might have been greased once back in 1997.

 

I wonder if there is a vise patina web-site you could register on, and reap the fame!

Good Morning SA! Was so windy yesterday, I had to stop on my way to Best Buy to fasten the velcro again on my tonneau! It was blowing off. So, yesterday was a successful RETURN to Best Buy to give back the replacement Sony AV - out of the box, it was doing the same thing on start up - aside from the annoying every time start menu fight that Sony knows about, the fight over it deciding to watch the BlueRay play was there, and worse! Monday, I got online with Sony, after trying everything I could find about an issue you can't find, and generated over 20 pages of useless chat; that resulted in Sony telling me to turn off the ARC features, and use ALL FOUR remotes just to turn on and watch TV. That isn't a solution. I got kicked up the chat to an expert that never showed up. That, was the end of that. Took it back, was treated wonderfully, and have a similar Onkyo that actually does what it's told. So, that's what yesterdays plan was!

Truck will be here with my project after noon sometime, so more coffee and figure what to putz until then. Have a lot of veggies to pot, and watering system to work on, so plenty to choose from.
