    Morning Mark - ick.

:pccoffee: Good Morning SA! One more quick trip back to Lowe's for (3) more concrete blocks. One of my two rain barrel risers finally made it, and it's bigger than I thought. Long story.

Morning gang, well this weekend I get the truck all but packed for next week. Will be headed to camp with the trailer on Thursday during the day and then zip out early on Saturday and head towards Roswell. Will be meeting up with Ramon, Matt and Dino as we work our way up towards Moab area and explore the area. We cancelled the trip last year due to the cost of fuel, so here we are this year.

Im sure this was already discussed elsewhere but, how are you enjoying 150 for traveling/camping? Ive been in the market for a 05-06 tundra DC but, going on 2 years of no local luck. Been thinking of going to second gen tundra; is there a reason you went ford over toyota? Cheers!

Well this will be the first real trip I will be taking on it for multiple days of use, have done a couple of overnighter ones but didn’t have this tent at the time and just utilized a ground tent. Overall I am really liking the ford, has great power and the longer bed has been great since we are hauling things to camp a few times a year. I needed more truck then what the Tacoma provided, should have just kept it and bought a good used truck with low miles but oh well, don’t really regret it. I really considered a new Tundra but I would of leaned towards the 2nd gen ones, but I know they are hard on fuel but in retrospect on how I pull and haul things it would of been about the same as this hybrid I got gets. I have started to like the newer Tundra’s but they still don’t do much for me in the stock form, the F150 is better looking rig imo. I was able to find this one on the lot back in Dec of 21, it still does not have 11k of miles on it, stays parked at home most of the time.

:pccoffee: Good Morning SA! Well, I got my blocks, cut 'em up, and turned the base to stone - that let me get the East barrel 90% done. Have to plant the flowers, and put some stone on the bottom. The little drain hole got plugged, and washed the sand out of the old base, and we needed risers to make any use of the water.

Finish that one up, and do the West today. Nothing wrong with that one, except no riser yet.
