:pccoffee::notsure: Good Morning SA! Weather guys beginning to sound like the boy who cried "wolf" again - it's Spring; they do that. Severe, not severe, no, just rain, no rain, severe! Supposedly, some late tonight. 99% out there right now, means I'm not rushing to get out there.

Most all of my solar control rebuilt yesterday after the dentist. Should have it in the shed for testing this afternoon, then tie it all down. Once it works, I can get to replacing the tubing for the water.

Alright, alright, alright! Version 2 of my control panel now runs! Did I know the new cell was wired reverse of my original? I did yesterday in checking. Did I know that polarity of various connectors from new and old was whatever they felt like? No, I could understand that some came as the mating pair, but wasn't even consistent! So, I was very careful. But ANOTHER thing I did not know was the actual output and battery connections from the little controller were reversed, on original vs. New!
But if you push something hard enough, it will fall over! Inch by inch, back and forth from garage to shed, it was all tended to.

I moved the little controller brick up, so I should see the LEDs better.

So, everything runs and measures correctly again. Tomorrow, I'll play with new hose. Yeah, I know, I could have just added a time clock to the solar kit, but where's the fun in that??

Well, just for fun. Version 2. HEB thin crust. I put olive oil on the bottom real light.
New sauce she got (still isn't what she wants).
Mozzarella and Asiago all over. Olive oil brush, crushed garlic, and more Asiago brushed on the crust. Prosciutto, mushrooms, and red onion on all.
Half pepperoni, salami, and green pepper.
    Half Italian sausage.
We're getting there! Simple and fun to make.

This time, I just set at 700*. Also, put some heavy foil under the stone to keep it clean.

And, pretty darn good in 8 minutes!

Funny that in the past couple days, Masterbuilt has sent me emails about buying their pizza oven insert, the internet knows, and shows me an Amazon version for $70, AND my LAST Pop Mech issue came today with a "build your own" - that costs more than the Amazon, and requires a metal brake! I might just get myself a little piece of stainless, and cut to fit the shelf riser above, and - there you have it!

The best part so far is that HEB has thin crust, 16" prepped crust. It's really pretty good. I was looking for Boboli when I found it = pretty sure that's no longer on the market. Next day I found some at Wal-Mart too, but I didn't scope it out. Really makes things a lot easier.

I’m pretty stoked I can cover my mortgage with it and then some!

Cool, and a fun thing to do together. If you don't have a high temp smoker, you can find self contained pizza ovens pretty easy. Cheap to expensive.

LOL @Slimwood Shady , here is YESTERDAY morning's post, that I never did!! So, Good Evening SA!

:pccoffee: Good Morning SA! Highest level of severe warnings this week for us tonight. Guess I will be covering the vehicles this afternoon.

I finally got to replacing the old "clear" hose and million hose clamps on the greenhouse water system. Most of the clear was getting algae from the sun, so I replaced most of it with blue high temp vacuum hose. Keep the sun out. Work then expanded to fill available time.

Didn't replace the hose IN the barrel, but I did think cleaning the pickup might be a good idea! Might have been one of the issues....

And the reservoir in the greenhouse too.

Only one real problem, shed pump had burst its threads in the winter. Some teflon, and a stretched O Ring...

Hoses all flooded for the drips to go in today.
Wind came up earlier, so I made 2 wrapped baked potatoes before I put the drips in.

    20230428_114721.jpg
    20230428_120342.jpg

The wind was there, the humidity was there, the cold front was behind the storms = everything was set this time.

    20230428_180856.jpg
    Screenshot_20230428_193404_KXAN Weather.jpg

And despite lots of large hail nearby, it passed us pretty quickly and quietly. 0.01" of rain, enough peas size hail to NOT get a picture of, and that was it.

Morning gang, got back from the trip on Friday afternoon as we drove through the hail storm in Bandera. As far as I can tell no hail damage to the truck.

    Afternoon Danny
Afternoon Mark - glad to hear that! Well, both things actually!

 Good Afternoon SA! Made it back to COTA for their version of C&C; lots of changes for the better, but still a good Austin show. All the tax brackets make it. And a lot less gas for me; pays back the small admission charge! It'll take two posts for the "you are there" photo's, and I'm not even including the engine only pics. Here we go!
