It seems like the decked would be the better fit for me, to stash tools and all the stuff on my back seat

 

Remember, you CAN get lock kits for the drawers too. Look on TW for a decent used offer - they are virtually indestructible! If the pics are good, it probably is. I was very happy with mine, until I kept getting older....

 

It was "docent day" (guide) at the CAF Hangar today. Got there early for a parking place, and only one other guy there. Couple mechanics later on. Everyone else was elsewhere. Put down some oil dry, and sprayed "my" 2800 radial with Kroil, then it was tours the rest of the day. Successfully worked the register that I got trained on this morning.




"That's All Brother" C-47 did not make it back as scheduled on Monday. It had to divert to Baton Rouge, and blew a cylinder on the way. Luckily, no metal parts went in the engine, and no oil came out. Hats off to that crew! Our chief drove over there, and looks like he will be going back with a replacement cylinder. And to think it was scheduled for a complete engine tear down while here.

Nope. Keeping it simple. This gives me the look I want while not compromising much. I love this truck. It is damn nice. The more I drive it the more I love it. I also missed being in a pickup significantly more than I thought.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads! We Had homemade chicken fried steak for Father’s Day!

 

Well, my very enjoyable day is ending; son came down to visit, ribs were eaten, so hot (104*) only he got in the pool for a minute, and on his way home. Spent the morning with one of my few old friends from work, and he loves cars! Like me, his favorite is "that one". So, two posts, and I still deleted and left a bunch on the editing room floor. COTA C&C isn't a big as SA at the moment, but there is a lot of coming and going - so very active.

Man, those Lucids were very impressive. Windshield goes up through the roof to be the sun roof. Room for lots of bodies, if you're in the mob. Even had a friendly sales rep. No interior shots, because too many millionaires were in the way.

Man, if you have a friend like mine that loves cars - meet him/her at a show for even more fun! I wish I could give you all the comments we had over every single vehicle you see!
