What did you get?

 

05 f350. It's been a good truck so far. Gets about 20mpg so it's the most fuel efficient thing in my fleet compared to my gtr, 4runner, and Tacoma lol

 

I know a guy that’s tints and applies ceramic coatings… lol anyways is it a 6.0 powerstroke?

 

Yeppers. Have. 7.3 as well but always wanted a 6.0.

 

Aren’t those engines faulty? or is it bulletproofed already?

 

Not really, especially compared to a post 07 emissions diesels. 02-03 had issues but post 04.5 are pretty solid. Main issues are bad techs and negligent owners not maintaining the truck imo. Example is the previous owner replaced ball joints but the tech did not install the nut on the bottom ball joint so the hole for the housing is too large and a new axle housing is needed. Main issues with the 6.0/vt365 will be the EGR (planning for something cannot state 2/2 EPA) oil cooler-will invest in bpd air to air oil cooler, o-rings everywhere but stand pipes and dummy plugs with worn out orings will cause hot no start issues-diesel site units will be used, ipr screen clogged with debris, ficm power supply issues-going with bpd 6phase unit for 48 volts. That is the most common issues and luckily for me I am decent with a wrench. my truck when I got it had 91k miles, no wrecks or blow by so was good buy imo.

Wanted to see if yall can send some recommendations for a place to get my truck an alignment? I jsut replaced the LBJ and outer tire rods and looking for a reliable place to get a solid alignment in the SA area
