    I need take a Poll
How many of you know of a family that are living in a house that are of limited budget that need grass cutting or tree trimming? This is not for landscaping, this is for keeping rat/varmint populations down and trees from damaging their houses? I'm looking into providing a service for that group for health and safety issues.

Clay bar removes any particles/micro particles stuck to the paint. What this does is give a good smooth canvas to work on. It will be easier to apply polish and remove. It will also allow the paint to soak in the oils in the polish. One way to check if you need to clay bar is put a sandwhich bag over your hand and run it against the paint. If it snags then it needs a clay bar.

There are many methods to detailing your paint, with clear coat now a days the process is quite simple. When doing a new vehicle I will wash with a product to remove old polish, wax, sealents etc. This allows me to work on clean paint. I will then clay bar the whole vehicle and wash again to remove all the particles off the paint. From here depending on the condition of the paint I will either use a rubbing compound (more abrassive) and/or an all in one polish. From there I will apply a paint sealent allowing it to dry for a day then applying wax over it. After that it is all maintenance. I wash my truck with a foam cannon to allow soap to breakdown the dirt/grime. I then wash by hand using the two bucket method so as not to reintroduce dirt back to the paint. I either blow dry the truck to not introduce scratches or I use a large very soft drying towel to dry the truck.

You can clay bar the windows too, it will make it easier to clean and when it rains the water just bead off.

Anyone got plans this morning, think I'm gonna take a small detour to the doctors office this morning so I can get some dirt road action. It is nothing crazy just really dusty but it is kinda on my way there, oh and not to worry just some blood work on a follow up from my physical.
