Retirement possibilities are getting closer, which allows for double dipping for the future

Definitely not paid off. Progressive was cool. They let me handle how I wanted. Gave me the option of having an agent look at it and going to a shop or just snapping pictures and getting a check cut. Since I wanted a bumper I opted for the check. But I was surprised at how thorough they were with their estimate, including my light bar even though I didn't call it out. My damage was pretty superficial though. If it was more structural or affected the steering I would have taken it somewhere

Hi Robert, I hit two deer (stock bumper) with my new truck (not yet paid off). To much damage to take the money and buy an aftermarket. Had to get a lot of internal things fixed. Insurance covered it but I learned something important. If the vehicle is less than two years old, by law, they have to purchase OEM product (not third party crap). My auto body dude pushed and battled with them and he finally threatened them with the newer than 2 year old law. I'd assume the same if you have an after market bumper.

Hey guys, Truck seems to be fine. Haven't drove for a month. Been trying to keep up lately but have had some problems. I was in Corpus and had a minor stroke on the lower left side of my cerebellum and an aneurysm on the lower right side of the cerebellum. WOW. Stupid or stubborn, I drove from there to Boerne (took almost 5 hours) and climbed into bed. Wife (with brain) took me to the hospital where they discovered my problems.
No deficits remain from the minor stroke. They can't figure out why I had a stroke. Every test shows I'm good. They say I'm too young and healthy thats why they are trying to figure out how this happened. I call it a fluke!! The aneurysm swelled out both sides and somehow platelets in my blood went into the affected areas and hardened. So that blood vessel is normal now.
All that's left are bills! No mods coming my way this year! Damn it!!!!!

    Damn! That sounds serious man:(

I hope it was just a fluke.. going to keep you in my prayers regardless though..

Youre way too young to be having health problems

That's what I'm claiming - Fluke baby fluke!
Sense of humor stayed high throughout, even with hospital staff. Wife told me the nurses liked coming to my room and didn't want to leave. They had too many laughs with us. I'll be at the next C&C, and you'll see, you won't even know anything happened! o_O
