Guys need some help. Brake pedal became super soft and lost all ability to stop. Lucky enough to be going slow at the time. Brake fluid all over the front passenger tire. What do y’all think it is. ? Stuck at a papa johns off of Babcock.

Ruptured line or bad fitting. Where is the majority of the food coming from? Flex it out recently?

I would check and make sure all the brake line connections to the caliper are not loose. Im guessing its a loose connection, or a hole in one of the lines. What does your brake fluid level look like in the resivoir? (Open the hood and check that)

If there isnt any damage and just a loose connection, you will likely need to bleed the air out of the lines and top off the fluid.

Looks like it’s from line attaching to the caliper. And no flexing

I'd start at the fitting on the caliper. Looks like the majority of the fluid is from there. See how it sprayed out horizontally onto the A Arm?

Looks like the fluid is at an acceptable level.. but that could just be because there is air in the lines now due to the loose connection. Id try to tighten the brake line connector on the caliper and see how it does from there..

Do you have any basic tools with you?

I dont have any brake fluid and am on the opposite side of town, I do have a tow strap but idk if that would help. I could run to a Walmart or something.

Don't risk driving with that. Even getting towed would be risky.

    What's the nearest intersection?

I do have basic tools. Tried tightening the caliper connection but not much. Even though it has some threads showing

Looks like it’s leaking where the line attaches to the bolt on the caliper.

Im guessing there is something broken on the line itself if tightening it didnt keep it from leaking more. I definitely wouldnt drive it.. its normal for some of the threads to be showing still between the caliper and where the line connects into it
