Dirty Nelly's piano bar. Go after dark since it gets a little dirty. It's on the river walk near the Hilton.
Iron cactus is good as well.

Casa Rio is ok Mexican food on the Riverwalk, but a few blocks west on Dolorosa is better at El Mercado, La Margarita or Mi Tierra all in the market area. Durty Nellys Irish Pub in the Hilton, on the Riverwalk is a fun stop for drinks and a piano bar.

Yeah, if you go off the river I could suggest a few more places. Flora's Country Store is really great for some Texas music.
