Heard that there was an R/C car rigged with explosives found at the residence? Was this put out at the press conference?

I feel sorry for that baby and what she has to think of about her parents for the rest of her life.

I'm sure, in short order, we will find out that he was mentally deranged on a level that no one knew. Regardless of the rationale his mind, and hers, came up with all the people who do things like this are mentally deranged and detached on a level that no sane person could ever comprehend.

If the grand parents are smart they'll change her name and move her far, far away. She doesn't need to know what her parents did TBH. No one needs to know that at her age. Let her learn when she's older.

Did one of the reporters just ask if there was a more sinister act involved with more casualty's possible from reports and the Chief sad he had no comment?

That's what I'm thinking, nobody stock piles a dozen plus pipe bombs for work place violence. I'm betting that there was a bigger plan. I bet Farook heard one too many anti-mulsim/ anti-Islam jokes from that one co-worker who took it too far and couldn't take it anymore. The reports of them wearing GoPros is pretty disturbing. Obviously something had been planned for sometime and something much bigger then what took place yesterday.

I have heard very mixed reports of a larger attack just nothing real concrete as to what....I guess the no comment shit leads to even more speculation of acts.

2 individuals certainly don't require 5k rounds of ammo and a dozen bombs.

And that's only what was found out the house. That doesn't account for any number of those that left the house into or for someone else's hand.

I am sure that area is going to be on a razor edge for quite awhile.

You know what they say in Criminal Justice 101... motive and opportunity. Maybe the opportunity came up before they were ready and had practiced out a plan well enough to inflict maximum damage. If anything that says they were total amateurs, as far as terrorists are concerned, and maybe that's a good sign that this was a localized incident where some lessons can be learned.

Figure out what drove them to this, and then work on the base of the problem. That's always the best way to work on things.

    How sad is that :(

And how fortunate I was to go to school after the cold war threats and before this terror crap.
I also "came of age", after the invention of the birth control pill...and before AIDS. We did it a lot. :D
