San Diego BS Thread.

I was up there about 4-5 months ago, it was pretty bad in some spots, and we got lost to boot!

 

You know what, alot of the trails are super rutted out these days! Last time I went to PV, there were ALOT of deep ruts, a couple spots that were on a steep hill that had me a little worried...

 

Come on Monday !!! Axle is cleaned out/re sealed/prepped & waiting for the 3rd.....

 

yeah but those are publicly accessible trails that are at least somewhat maintained. LW on the other hand is far from maintained...

 

Or legal....

 

What fun is there left that is?

Already had a locker but it was in dire need of bearings.....

 

FYI they blocked off the entrance/exit near the Nursery now, only bikes can fit through there..

 

Tell ya what, for as easy as PV is when dry it can be an absolute bitch with a little rain or snow for that matter, alot of clay in that top soil, it turns orange almost & slick as hell, you can't stand on it without slipping/falling down.....sux...

 

I've gone out there a few times when it's muddy...agreed...I've never gone past the helo pad though(in the mud)...I know how steep and tight some of the trail is past that...wouldn't want to fuck around in the mud on that...unless I had a caravan of 4WD's with me

 

Yep, if you went down the hill to the mining camp you'd have to stay until it dried out some, whether it was a couple hours or a couple days..

We had to leave 1 members truck on the side of Los Pinos~ mnt. look out for 3 days couple years ago in corral canyon

ohh man this description had me grinning ear to ear the whole time I was reading it.... So awesome!!!!!
