    Just got off the phone from Diamond the company that made the antennae and they "say" the set screws are custom to their antennae but sent 4 for free...

    Should be all! And $200 tents are around $60 and used once type of things. ANd any overruns and stuff that is last years model...

    Do you take the antennae off or unscrew the base? Mine has a not that keeps the coax in place and can unscrew the base so you don't have to take set screws out...

    I thought what little swr tuning hams had was done with that set screw.... I would unscrew it from the coax, not the set screw.

    The tuning is done by cutting the length down. The set screws just make good contact and hold it in...

    Measure the diameter of the exposed connector, go to home depot and buy the little rubber feet for the bottom of chairs. When the antenna is off slip that over it. Thats what I do for my air fittings. I still wouldn't do the set screw because eventually you'll wear or strip the threads out.

    there is another piece that unscrews. like so, this is how i take mine off with a wrench gray cap came with antenna i added the race tie
