Check out Corral Canyon. I've never been but I hear good things. I also enjoyed my last trip to Shelter Velley. It's the high desert going into Ocotillo, but there are some decent truck trails.

depends on where you live, otay truck trail is very mild but offers good views. My favorite is Anza go to fish creek and devils drop off, heart attack hill, broken axle. Out in plaster city is some mild trails you can get pretty good speed. If you go plaster city, you can go into the bombing range by site 25, then keep going and youll end up in painted gorge. Good 2-4 hour ride.

Where are the three you mention (fish Creek etc)? That plaster city run sounds really cool!

I'm looking for some fun trails to pick up speed, but I can do that in ocotillo. Want to ease into some difficult stuff.

the three I mentioned are in Anza Borrego and are pretty fun but not something you do with speed. Plaster city has tons of trails that even I was getting up to 55+ with 250lbs added in the bed and non long travel.

Trail emergency: I need a drivers side spindle to fix my Tacoma. Any spindle will work off a 96-04 4x4 Tacoma or 96-02 4x4 4Runner. Need one ASAP. PLEASE let me know if you have one in San Diego.

I'm off Wednsday. Just a heads up though. It will be "ladies night" starting at 6:00PM. Can get a little more crowded for a Wednsday evening.

Couple shocks, some old tires, and a bad paint job
Pull the CV and get a 2wd spindle just to get home.

Or get a welder out there and burn it back together too.

Come out and play at King of the Desert in D38, its at Plaster West. 4-25 mile loops for my class, probably less for other classes.
Should be a blast I got a ton of friends going, you are more than welcome to use my pit and help!
