Dyno'd my truck before and after my swaybar removal. 355hp to the rear wheels!

 

Well, dust lights and fog lights...but i REALLY need to wire up my new fuse box...just being lazy and hardwiring to the battery these days...I really need someone who understands relays to help out...I tried to wire up my 20" the other day and thought I was good but it just wouldn't turn on..maybe it was the wrong relay or something..i dunno.

Do I absolutely NEED relays if I'm running through an Aux fuse block?

no relays needed its just the "safe" "mature" way of doing things. All my stuff is hard wired to the battery paired with the proper amperage fuses and switches hahah

 

You need relays, keep the juice under the hood and just a trickle in the cab. Relays are simple, google a schematic on them, seriously my 5 year old could do them, you'll be totally fine and glad you did it and understand more when you are done.

 

For tiny lights and little LED pods they are not needed but all your bars need relays, switches are not meant to carry that load

 

Good to know, thanks Tyler...went to Vatozone AND O'Reilly's and the didn't have any good relays...I'm not even sure what I need...

 

regular 4 pin relay with post 30,85,86, 87

 

And just use spade connectors?

 

30amp will cover anything you have. I'd buy a 5 pack on eBay for almost free ad do it all at once

 

weather proof spade connectors paired with heat shrink tubing.

 

yup, picked up some heat shrink tubing and a torch as well as some of that corrugated tubing to enclose wiring in. Gotta take a day and just rewire everything super pretty-like
