For folks looking at small cameras. I have a GoPro 3 black. Its OK. Take a look at the replay xd. Better camera and form factor.

looks like fun jason, i wouldn't mind doing something like that on a trail couch (quad)
thank's for the input, i'd never heard of them, the big thing about the replay is the battery life, on the go pro i can get battery packs and keep one charged while the camera's in use, and i'd have 4-5 hours of record time vs the 110 minutes of record time.

Jason, if i put a 12v plug on my quad would i need to upgrade the stator?
The stock stator puts out 90-100 watts, the light is 65 watts, and i'm not sure what the power draw of a gopro is.

Yeah no extra injuries, just the ones I came in with, lol. It was fun until the very end, talk about no energy....earning it!

No you should be fine on that elec system, Go Pro is batt operated, no need for power.

And no motor couches in the last dog standing, absolutely impossible! haha.

How does the bike look after the race? Any broken parts besides plastics?

Thanks, I wish I could pass on how sore I am too!! ;)

I put on my old plastics, yeah hammered, and the pipe is now touching the frame (just got it back from repair, lol) But not to bad really. especially if you saw the damn waterfall!! I just let the bike slide down using the plastics as a skid plate, while holding the rear fender to slow it down. Somebody knocked a big rock in the way so it was guaranteed Endo, F that!

We should ride together sometime. I like hard stuff. Or fast stuff, whatever...

Cool, I might upgrade it because it might be getting something special :spy:

Shoot, I guess I'll have to make a new race in Miss. Called the last quad standing.

On a another note, are amber lights used for dust lights only? Or could I use amber on the front of a OHV? I have the option to get,
    A: no extra lights
    B: 8" amber light bar
    C: white light pods

Amber isnt good for a headlight, get white. And I would recommend LEDs

Thanks for the info, much appreciated.
If mom approves the funding it sounds like I'll be getting a flood and a spot.
But I'm not sure of she'll approve it if I get a gopro, decisions decisions.

We went into Italy today for a few hours, it's meh compared to switzerland, right now were in a decent sized town called Lugano, I've seen a few ferraris, a Lamborghini, and a Bugatti veyron, plus a few nice dual sports, and I saw a street legal quad that looked like a grizzly, and the other day in the mountains we saw a street legal z-400, so I want to make my z-400 street legal when we get home.

And of course I have to add a picture of the Matterhorn (the cloud looking thing is the matterhorn, it was completely cloud free this morning.
