what do y'all think? i'm gonna call the guy later on and try to set up a meet.
The only thing that worries me is he listed the TRD suspension, but no elocker, and there's only one bedside TRD sticker.

Jake, are you in SD? A person id take it to if it seems like you want and before final sale would be James at the truck shop. just a thought.

Locker is not a biggie, you can always go aftermarket, sticker even easier.

I am, but this truck is up north.
Dad's a mechanic so i'm not to worried about getting a bad truck.

Yeah, and i could swap in a TRD axle if i wanted to, it's probably cheaper then a ARB.

Hmmmmm auto huh. I hate autos, but thats just my personal opinion.
When those trannies go out its costly, a manual you just need a clutch.

The only cars I have that are auto are the RV (they all are), my wifes CRV girls like autos, and my Camaro (used to be manual, but broke the trans 3x so went to a TH400 with a Gear vendors overdrive)

I dont like autos because the 3.4 4wd is a bit slugish, and even more with the power sucking auto trans where you loose around 10-15% more power due to the parasitics of an auto..

    Just my .02c

Maybe, but those locker axles are pretty pricey when I was lookin around, was gonna put one in my truck so I could have a locker for launches, I ended up getting An S-runner axle with the TRD limited slip instead.

From what i've asked, and what auto trader says the DC wasn't offered with a manual, not even special order, i could swap in a manual, but that's mean installing a master cylinder, clutch pedal, swapping in a manual trans ECU, and some slight modifications to the trans tunnel.

I prefer a manual, but the 4 doors is higher priority then trans.

there was a guy on here who had a line on a complete axle for $300

EDIT: upon closer inspection of the pics it appears to have TRD stickers on both sides, but the drivers side one os either gray, or peeled off and only the shadow is left.

Hmmm, why do you need 4 doors, for your wife and 2 kids?? And I have seen a manual DC, but it was from another state

And I have done the swap, it is very expensive and no mods to trans tunnel. And you also should get a full engine wiring harness because they are different to make sure you dont get any CEL.

I have never seen an electric locker for less than $800, but thats not to say they arent out there...

Nope, i gotta have the extra doors for my hunting buddies.
Shoot, that doesn't sound as bad as what monte was telling me, but i wouldn't do the swap anytime soon.

I bet they are fairly hard to find

yeah, and if i ever have to ride on the back seat of a extra cab i would have to cut open the roof to get in.
    That might work.

i'm to used to the room of a 4 door, and eventually it'll be more useful.

Why would you be in the back of your own truck, I have NEVER been in the back seat of my vehicles, well maybe once, but it was stationary.

Emergency situation, or if my grandpa, dad, and i had to go somewhere and my truck is the only vehicle available.

i found another truck, they're asking 15,900 , which i thought was a little high, but i asked the people who are paying for it and they said they'd pay it.

2003 Toyota Tacoma 4 door 4x4. 108, 000 miles. Very clean. Maintained and very well taken care of. No accidents. Original owner was an older lady. I received the truck with 104, 000 miles. Interior looks new. Brand new front brakes and rotors. Timing belt has been done. 4 wheel drive has barely been used.

i wish my truck would sell, but i gotta fix the AC first.
a guy in the 30 and younger thread said that they go extremely fast, when he was looking he'd check twice a day.
